Thermic Fluid Heater AMC & Maintenance Services

Thermic fluid heaters operate under extreme bulk and film temperatures — and problems develop gradually, often showing up first as a quiet drop in process heat output or an unusual reading before they escalate into costly coil failures or unplanned shutdowns. At Dhyami Industrial Solutions, we provide comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contracts and scheduled preventive maintenance services for thermic fluid heaters of all capacities — keeping every system operating safely, efficiently, and without interruption.

  • Complete Annual Maintenance Contract coverage,
  • Scheduled preventive maintenance visits,
  • Coil decoking & fire-side cleaning,
  • Burner servicing & combustion tuning,
  • Nitrogen blanketing system inspection,
  • Circulation pump & mechanical seal servicing

Why Thermic Fluid Heater Maintenance Is Critical

Coking deposits, fluid degradation, and burner drift are silent performance killers — they reduce heat transfer efficiency, raise stack temperatures, and increase fuel consumption long before they trigger an alarm. A structured AMC programme identifies these issues early, extends coil life, protects fluid quality, and ensures your heater operates within safe design limits at all times.

Coil Decoking & Cleaning

Scheduled chemical and mechanical decoking of heater coils removes carbon deposits that reduce heat transfer and accelerate coil overheating.

Nitrogen Blanketing Inspection

Verification and maintenance of nitrogen blanketing system on expansion tank — the single biggest factor in preventing fluid oxidation and extending fluid life.

Burner & Combustion Servicing

Burner nozzle cleaning, flame scanner inspection, air-fuel ratio tuning, and flue gas analysis to maximise combustion efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.

How We Work

  • We conduct a detailed baseline inspection of your thermic fluid heater — reviewing coil condition, fluid quality, burner performance, nitrogen blanketing integrity, and pump health before the AMC commences.
  • Fluid samples are taken during every scheduled visit — tested for viscosity, flash point, Total Acid Number, and carbon residue to track degradation trends and recommend timely fluid replacement.
  • The heater coil fire-side is cleaned during scheduled shutdowns — removing soot and carbon deposits that reduce heat transfer efficiency and raise stack temperature.
  • Burner components are serviced during each visit — nozzle cleaning, flame scanner inspection, electrode gap verification, and combustion air-fuel ratio tuning.
  • The nitrogen blanketing system on the expansion tank is inspected and verified — ensuring positive N2 pressure is maintained to prevent oxidative fluid degradation.
  • The circulation pump, mechanical seal, bearings, and suction strainer are inspected and serviced — preventing cavitation, seal failure, and flow interruption.
  • Full service reports are provided after every visit — documenting fluid test results, coil condition, combustion data, and specific recommendations for the next interval.

Our AMC covers scheduled preventive maintenance visits, fluid sampling and lab testing, coil fire-side cleaning, burner servicing, nitrogen blanketing inspection, circulation pump servicing, safety interlock testing, and complete service documentation after every visit.

We take fluid samples during every scheduled maintenance visit and test for viscosity, flash point, Total Acid Number, and carbon residue — trending results against baseline values. Replacement is recommended when any parameter crosses the fluid manufacturer's published in-service limit.

Nitrogen blanketing maintains a slight positive N2 pressure on the expansion tank — preventing air and oxygen from contacting the hot fluid surface. It is the single most effective measure against oxidative fluid degradation, sludge formation, and rising Total Acid Number.

Yes. We conduct a comprehensive baseline inspection of your existing heater — reviewing coil condition, fluid quality, burner performance, and instrumentation — before commencing the AMC. Existing defects and recommendations are documented in the baseline report.

Yes. We supply thermic fluid top-up quantities, mechanical seals, pump bearings, burner nozzles, gaskets, and all required consumables as part of the AMC — ensuring zero delays during scheduled maintenance visits.

Service frequency depends on operating hours, fluid type, and heater capacity — typically monthly inspections with quarterly or bi-annual full service visits. Our team recommends the optimal schedule based on your specific heater and operating conditions.
