ThermoShield 55 handles a cold start at -20°C and sustained operation at 320°C, with a low TAN of 0.005-0.01 mg KOH/g straight out of the drum, showing how clean a properly maintained system should read. ThermoShield 60 pushes further, holding stability at a 340°C bulk temperature with strong resistance to carbon-chain breakdown under sustained high heat.
